Would a DTC 5280 CRZ be an acceptable substitute?

I've got a bunch of 16-bit RLL cards also, including DTC and SMS, as well as the usual WD. On many floppy+MFM controllers, the FDC can be disabled or mapped to a different (i.e. 37xh) port, which has the same effect.

The card I bought ended up being the WD1003-WAH, cables included. It arrived today, the card is fine, but they sent two standard 3.5" floppy cables! But all of the MFM cables on eBay are selling for almost twice as much as I payed for the controller ($30.)
