Default Libretto 70CT: The LCD that wouldn't LCD

So, I got myself a Libretto 70CT and it's in basically perfect shape, though the display seems jagged (i.e. like there's some sort of interlacing going on with vertical columns of pixels) and i'm getting some discoloration. Immediately i consisdered the video cable suspect and have been fiddling with it, but i'm unable to get rid of the weird jagged video. Anyone got any pointers or know where i should look for a complete replacement LCD if things take a turn for the worst?

EDIT: If i squeeze the left side of the upper half of the laptop (near the Pentium sticker) the LCD behaves itself until i let go. Hmm...

Sounds like some sort of loose connection or dry joint. I suggest dismantling the panel and poking around the top left with an insulated tool to narrow the problem area down.

Turns out it was just a loose internal connector! We're in the clear.
