    Default Unknown Apple II card

    Hi,

I'm new to Apple II computers.
I've recently purchased one IIe that came with this card installed.
Any idea what it could be ?

An NEC μPD780C is a Z-80, so yeah, Softcard clone except they didn't bother populating the 4 position DIP switch below the LED.

Looks like a good score. Expands software you can use.
Thomas Byers (DRI)- "You'll have a million people using the A> [MS-DOS prompt] forever. You'll have five million using [nongraphic] menu systems such as Topview, Concurrent PC-DOS, Desq, and those types. But there'll be 50 to 100 million using the iconic-based interfaces."
