    Default What does IC IBM 58x5144 / 74 70 / 85301 05020

    Hi!

I got a punch of TTL in those Plastik tubes. Most I do recognize but one drives me crazy and there I got about 30-40 pieces.

    On the top is says:
    IBM 58x5144
    74 70
    85301 05020

    On the back:
    8532 30I05020
    8 SPORE

It is ceramic made and DIP 16 (so cannot be a 7470)

I got it together wit RAM MT2159-10, Tons of EPROM 2732, Tons of 511000 and some DS8640. Maybe this helps to find the purpose of those chips?

    Cheers,
    Peter

    "house numbers" can be problematic.

Do you have an EPROM programmer with audo-IC recognition? My Xeltek Superpro does--helped with some Fujitsu house-numbered stuff.

    Hi Chuck,

I got an older TL866 which doesn't support this feature. Hmm, maybe if I just check for input/output pins and applying some voltage with current limiter on Pins 8 and 16. I actually expect this to be RAMs as it is so many.

If 8532 is the date, year/week, I find it odd to be a ceramic IC.

    Cheers,
    Peter
