Thread: Is a Voodoo3 2000/3000 good enough for all 3DFX games?

Default Is a Voodoo3 2000/3000 good enough for all 3DFX games?

A question here for folk more familiar with these cards. Can I get by with just a Voodoo3 agp card and be able to play all voodoo supported games? I don't exactly care about having the best graphics, I just want to be able to play the games that only work right on a 3DFX card. I have a Voodoo3, do I even need to keep a voodoo5?

Well I'll find out for myself then, once I get into glide games..

This isn't much of a gaming forum. You might be better off asking on someplace like Vogons.

Ultimately, it depends on the games that you want to use.

I could be mistaken, but I seem to recall some games that required a Voodoo 4 or 5. But then again, all I know is that they would not run on a lowly Voodoo 1, and that is hardly a surprise.
