    Ice skating is year round here. I think that's one of the reasons why people think we're so far north.

    just got through on of the longest winters I can remember. I dont want to think of cold.

    I tried skiing and it was fun. Learning to stop was interesting. I also went white water rafting in PA after a huge rain, that was interesting as well (fell out and almost had the raft run me over). Generally I don't do sports especially ones that can hurt me badly.

    I generally rollerskated on my face, which never worked too well.

    Strangely, though, I enjoy ice skating, so it must be some sort of mental block.
