    Default Hello from Canada!

    Hi Everyone!

I love my Amiga 2000 and I'm glad I found a place to express that love. I also hope I can pick up some new/old items to make my system even greater than it is now.

The very first computer that I saved up for and purchased was a Commodore Vic-20. A whopping $299.00 for a system that had 5K of ram. 3K of which was taken up by the OS. It took another 6 months to save up enough money to buy the cassette drive. Before then, I had to re-type any program that I wanted to run, because I had no way to save them at the time.

Computers that I've owned over the years:

    Timex Sinclair 1000
    Commodore Vic-20
    Commodore 64
    Apple IIe
    Commodore Amiga 2000

Oh nice. I used to live closer to you. I lived in Edmonton, AB for a while.

I hope I'm not rubbing it in, but the weather is great here right now. It's one of the reasons that I moved here from Edmonton. I was tired of the 9-month winters.

Thatís great! l understand about the out-of-towners visiting. Everyone HAS to see the sights. But itís cool because I get to be a tourist and I get caught up in the excitement along with them.

Awesome! When we get bored and just need to go for a drive, we sometimes end up up in Hamilton. Although right now our car is dead, so we’ve just been sticking around town.
