$50 sounds about right to me. There is really nothing else you can do with it besides hang it on a wall.

24" isn't particularly large in the days of the big disks either. I had one from a Bryant drive in my shop for quite some time--I was thinking about making a coffee table out of it, but couldn't get around the big hole in the middle.
