From what I gather when you boot from the Hyperion boot disk it puts these little function key options at the bottom of the screen, similar to the BASIC status row. I think that's what those are supposed to be.

I sort of wondered about video RAM but I assumed if that was a problem the graphics mode would be bad too. I tested some other disks.. including a DOS 5.0 setup disk. That disk goes into a setup program with ANSI graphic menus... the hyperion shows a couple of the bars forming the dialog boxes.

One oddity I'm curious about. The Hyperion boot disks have an autoexec file that copy a bunch of files to a C: drive. Has that shown in the manual. But it has no C: drive.. wondering if it's some kind of RAM drive or something. Really weird.
