No, there is nothing specific to do, the M300 is technically not a special system which needs special setup. Which DOS version do you use?

    Hi, I'm using DOS 6.22

I got it working after doing following:
    - set bios to correct hard drive type
    - delete hdd partition with delpart.exe (I don't think this step is needed)
    - use FDISK to create partition of maximum size 41MB (it's a 54MB hdd, but bios type 36 is a 40MB hdd setting. It's the original hdd, so the size difference is normal).
    - format C with command: FORMAT C: /S
Now the PC boots to the hard drive!

After that I installed DOS 6.22 and it wouldn't start anymore.
When I checked with FDISK the partition got a size of 50MB instead of 40MB. I didn't use FDISK to recreate a partition of 50MB and DOS setup did not format the disk (but it did rename it).

So in the end I did the first steps again, ending with "FORMAT C: /S" and then just copied some DOS files manually to the hard drive.
    I tried Wolfenstein 3D, it's working fine.

don't forget that your system has a configuration error, this message should desappear when you get back to setup defaults.
