    Default 80286 PGA Socket Rotator

I wanted to plug a cpu upgrade module into one of my 286 computers but it won't fit unless it is rotated 90 counter clockwise. Both the upgrade board and the motherboard socket are 68 pin PGA (not PLCC). I wanted to find some kind of rotator board but couldn't find one. Does anyone know where to find one of these or will I have to try to make one myself? Also, I already contacted the people on this website, but they never responded.

I don't see anything like that in the Aries catalog--and they'd be the go-to source for this outre sort of thing.

Anyone else know where to buy one of these, or perhaps how to make one? I bought a Kingston 386SX Now for one of my 286 computers but it won't fit unless it is rotated 90 counter clockwise.

I would try actually calling up the company you linked in your initial post (Ironwood electronics). Emails tend to get lost or ignored if they think your not serious about purchasing.

Calling up shows your a lot more serious than sending an email; plus you will get a straight out answer if it's available or not.
System 80 Expansion Interface located! Thanks to all who helped out and the good people in the NZ vintage computer forums!
