Looking For a Few Things

Hello everyone!

I just got an EasyData 286, and I want a few different things to add to it:

1. Either a working MFM hard drive, or a CompactFlash ISA card
2. A sound blaster ISA card
3. An Ethernet ISA card
4. An 80287 coprocessor (my processor is a 12Mhz...what speed should I get for the coprocessor?)

Let me know if you have any of these things!

It was typical for an 80287 FPU to run at 2/3 the speed of the CPU, so you will most likely need an 80287 that can do at least 8MHz.

That said, some systems allow you to select the FPU speed using a jumper so see if you can find a manual for your system, or failing that take a close look at the motherboard, especially in the vicinity of the FPU socket or any crystals near that socket.

How large is the drive? Are drivers available for the sound card?
