    Default Osborne Executive Rescue

Hi everyone, new to the forums.

I have a new-to-me Osborne Executive that I'd love to get functioning. Unable to get it to boot CP/M correctly, I disassembled it to find that it had been modified in the past. the F6821P chip UD12 had been double-stacked and quite a few non-standard wire traces had been made to different chips all octopus-like. It also has a non-standard ROM labeled "Multi TurboRAM v1.12 (c)1987" in the UD18 slot.

Based on some pictures of Executive mainboards I found, and going off what the obvious modifications where, I've been able to return the board back to stock configuration. However, the non-standard ROM is what I believe is the last step to getting the unit functioning; but I'm unable to find anywhere that has a flashable ROM image for the Osborne Executive. I do have a chip imaging rig (that I've used on my old IBM PC's), all I need is a ROM image

Anyone out there in vintage land be able to help out a fellow Osborne owner?

I've searched and haven't been able to locate the ROM's for the Osborne Executive in the typical places.
Bitsavers, amaus, and Maslin Archive doesn not have them.

I did directory listings of the CPMPLUS{1..3}.RAW files looking for the ROMS. Also the OSE-CPMA, OSE-CPMB, and OSE-CPMC.RAW
    files.

    I did locate this information:

    http://www.retroarchive.org/maslin/d...rne/index.html
Copyright (1986) by First Osborne Group (FOG)

    Filename CRC Description
    -FOG/CPM.048: Osborne Executive Specific programs
    //CPM048.DOC:
    /JUN/86 . :
BUFEXEC .COM: 2D EF A modem program that uses CompuServe protocol
    BUFEXEC .DOC: B3 A2
BUFEXECR.COM: C9 11 Another version of the BUFEXEC modem program
    BUFEXECR.DOC: F8 AB
EXAUTO .ASM: 62 01 This can be assembled to replace EXECST
EXECESAY.TXT: 82 D2 Info on SNAPSHOT and TIME (on FOG/CPM.047)
EXECSCRN.COM: 91 03 Menu driven-- Sets screen attributes
EXROM11 .COM: 95 09 Reads the Executive ROM from Bank 8 to a disk file
    EXROM11 .DOC: DF E2
EXTONE1 .ASM: 4F 9E Demonstrates the noise generator in the Executive
I don't see any Executive ROMS for Osborne in Mame.

Maybe someone will have them saved.

I'm not sure where I found it, but I have a version 1.2 ROM image for the Executive. Send me a PM with your email address, and I'll send it to you.
