Default 386 extension software (for lack of a better name)

I have 386Max Version 6 and VM/386 Version 1.2, unused, as far as I can tell, complete and in boxes.

    Make an offer.

It's a Memory Manager, quite like QEMM.

That's 386Max. VM/386 is a multi-user/multi-tasker that competed with DesqView and Concurrent DOS.

You can't run 'em without at least an 80386 (or subsequent) of some stripe. Thus, it "extends" DOS capabilities with a 386.

I'd be interested in the VM/386. I believe it requires a dongle; is one included?

None in the box or in the installation instructions. Maybe you're thinking of a later version?

Perhaps. I saw one on eBay recently, thought about snagging it. Somebody else did before I came to a conclusion. Perhaps it's for international copies, a la Autocad? I guess I'm still interested.
