Thread: Looking for DOS based software to calibrate an old CGA CRT monitor

Default Looking for DOS based software to calibrate an old CGA CRT monitor

I have an old CGA monitor that I need to calibrate.
I'm looking for some old DOS based software that could perhaps display a test pattern or something similar on screen so that I can properly align the image.
Must be able to run under DOS on an old XT PC

Trixter's CGA Compatibility Tester has some test patterns that might be useful:

    Default videotst.exe

    I've got a program I wrote years ago. Videotst.exe
It should do the job. Source included, but may be missing some libs.
It's been too many years ago......

I like this! The Bars->"white" is wrong (it should be color #15, you used #7) but otherwise this is a really nice program for convergence and other adjustments.
    Offering a bounty for:
    - The software "Overhead Express" (doesn't have to be original, can be a copy)
    - A working Sanyo MBC-775, Olivetti M24, or Logabax 1600
    - Documentation and original disks for: Panasonic Sr. Partner, Zenith Z-160 series
    - Music Construction Set, IBM Music Feature edition (has red sticker on front stating IBM Music Feature)
