Maybe some military secrets? The control system for a nuclear power plant? The complete original script of Back to the Future?

    Let us know!

Looks like it needs to be pressure washed. Probably never been cleaned since new

One dark evening, I grabbed an old computer that was in a junk bin. When I moved the computer and tossed it in my trunk, I heard a rattle-like noise. It didn't sound like a single baby rattle, more like a bunch of maracas.

The noise was very unexpected and it took be a bit to process what it was. I shined a light in my trunk (hatchback with horrid interior lighting) and my horrors were confirmed. The computer case was filled with tiny grains of rodent fecal matter that now was all over my car.

That was disgusting. I learned a valuable lesson that day.

I've worked on gear where a 1 cm. layer of dried mouse poo was firmly cemented to a PCB. Not to mention the corrosion on the sheet metal from the urine and bits of hair and grass making a nest. Not as bad as finding a mess of roaches crawling over a dead mouse carcass, but close.

Was the valuable lesson, to use the wife's car when collecting old computers?
