Thread: HP Omnibook 900 - PASSWORD protected getting into Setup

Default HP Omnibook 900 - PASSWORD protected getting into Setup

I picked this up today in an estate sale for $2. Comes with all software, power supply, etc. I tried starting it up and had to enter Setup (F2) but before it started Setup, it prompts me for a password... I've tried just about everything but after five wrong tries, the laptop shuts off. I tried ESC key, etc. but nothing works.

    Any suggestions?

    Thank you,
    Roger

Hope you don't have to, but it looks like it. Got an eeprom programmer? From what I've been reading pulling the battery doesn't help.

Might be easier contacting the executor of the estate to see if any family knows what the person commonly used for passwords.
