    Yes, it looks like /CE only disables the data and address busses on the chip (so that it doesn't interfere with the CPU busses). The other side of it (keyboard scanning and that control signal) run constantly.

    Regarding the daughter board, I may have a spare. I'll look for it.

    Hi guys, i finaly got the supwrbrain working, JonB, your guide and .bin files are great, i tought to replace this by a microcontroller but this is a much more elegant solution, i would say, an easy fix.

    Now this superbrain might be the first to be powered by soviet technology, i had soviet 2716 handy, lots of them and installed one in the SB the 74123 i replaced is also a soviet ic

    Great to see another Superbrain alive - well done.

    Well done Alex and I like the Soviet chip - it looks classy.

    Now as you said you have a SS floppy drive you're going to need a BIOS that is likewise SS, and maybe your ROM is SS too? Watch out for read / write fails (and formatting fails at the half way point).
