Default Exploring the IBM Personal Computer

I am looking for the disk image for Exploring the IBM Personal Computer XT version 2. It seems that the regular PC and AT versions are online but it is impossible to find the XT version.

I’m not too sure other than when they were released.

Was one for Mono and the other for Color possibly?

I think that with each version you had the option between mono or color. I don’t think that the version is what determines this though I could be wrong.

The differences probably involved things like the version of DOS described and standard peripherals found with the machine. If I recall correctly, one differences between at AT 1.00 and AT 2.00 versions were that it showed a different model of printer. So stuff along that line.

I found this page, but there are only file names and no descriptions, the files to look at might be "expcolor.zip" and "exploringmono.zip", but I have no idea if these are anything close to what you are looking for.

There were two versions included with the Guide to Operations; one for the MDA and the other for the CGA.

What evidence do you have that an XT/version 2 of this existed?

    - The software "Overhead Express" (doesn't have to be original, can be a copy)
    - A working Sanyo MBC-775, Olivetti M24, or Logabax 1600
    - Music Construction Set, IBM Music Feature edition (has red sticker on front stating IBM Music Feature)
