    Default MS-DOS 5 Spring Circle?

Just found a copy of MS-DOS 5 Spring Circle in a box of software I got with a 5150 today. Can anyone shed some light on what this is and why it's called Spring Circle? I've never heard of it before today and I'm really curious

Spring Circle is a Taiwanese company with several motherboards on stason and a couple of FCC notifications for complete systems. Presumably sold in the US in small amounts through a vendor that did not advertise in PC Magazine.

Yup, MS sold MSDOS to various OEMs for distribution.

I knew that, I've got a few different OEM versions. I think the name had me confused, Spring Circle really doesn't sound like a computer manufacturer!

As opposed to say, "Flying Pigeon"?

I was thinking it sounded more like a special edition for some event in the spring!

I thought it was a generic name for a Circlip™.

Some of their boxes just said "Spring" on the outside, I think I've got a copy of MS-DOS 6 labeled as such.
