Sorry for the delayed response! I have a EEprom programmer so I should be able to make a copy using that. I will send the bin files to Modem7 this evening. Thanks for the responses from everyone. I did not know you could dump ROM's in DOS.

Ok I have made images of the ROMS and they are available here:

    https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Wai...yx4XjZMx3/view

    and here:

    https://drive.google.com/file/d/1v1c...ygdMyeuoV/view

The files are labeled 5170u27 and 5170u47 based on the location on the motherboard. Please let me know if this doesn't work for you or you have any questions

I added the images to the IBM 5170 section of http://minuszerodegrees.net/bios/bios.htm

Obviously, one needs to know the start and finish addresses.
    But there are some 'traps':

    * In some BIOS expansion ROM's, the ROM size byte does not reflect the ROM size.

    * In some BIOS expansion ROM's, the bytes are arranged differently to how the CPU sees them.
E.g. In the BIOS expansion ROM on an IBM EGA card, the bytes are in reverse order.
E.g. In the BIOS expansion ROM on some cards, the first half of the ROM contains the even bytes, and the second half contains the odd bytes.

Thanks for sharing, Good to have other system bios options for these old 5170's and 5162's.
