The fall DFW Retrocomputing Meetup (Renamed from North Dallas Area Retrocomputing) is scheduled for Saturday October 12, 2019 at the Dallas Makerspace.

We have booked two rooms (Interactive classroom and lecture hall) at the Dallas Makerspace to accommodate the attendees, reflecting growing involvement of the DFW Retrocomputing Facebook group as well as continued growth through and the Dallas Makerspace.

If you have something to bring for show and tell, please do! It can be something new, or something you already brought before. There will be tables and extension cords for exhibits. Or, just bring yourself!

The exhibit portion of the Meeting is Saturday, October 12, 2019 from 2:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

The exhibit portion is from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., in the interactive classroom and lecture hall, with 30 minutes before and after for setup and breakdown.

This time, the lecture hall is booked starting at 2:30, for a few lightning talks by anyone who is interested in giving a brief talk (1 to 10 minutes) about anything of interest. This can be a brief personal introduction, a brief introduction to your exhibit, a teaser about any retrocomputing topic of interest further in-person discussion.

If you are interested in giving a lightning presentation, please contact me with your name, topic, and how many minutes you will take. I will publish a schedule of the talks, beginning at 2:30 pm, to be followed by "open mike" time until 3:00 pm. The lecture hall will then revert to an exhibit room.

We will continue to have a swap/sale/givaway table. Labels will be available to mark your items.

As always, please RSVP so we know how much Pizza to bring.
