Opening bid is a bit too steep for me.

    From Wikipedia:

"A US government asset report dated May 2016[1] revealed that an IBM Series/1 was still being used as part of the country's nuclear command and control systems.[2]"

I'm sure the Nuclear Command and Control center could use some parts

    Dry stored
It's been in a shed for 30 years. Give it up and just take my damn $500 because your constatant grasping straws at military use isn't gonna get you a fat cheque. The machine is a dump.

I'll buy the thing and perform the upkeep for the Nuclear Command and Control apparatus if they're willing to provide a big fat cheque.

There is a 30% buyers premium on that as well as far as I can tell...

I didn't hang around to see if someone bid but if that just pops up to mask the price regardless then I'd just blame Ms. -------- for not getting her money again and trying to keep it artificially inflated.
