    I have manuals for QC 2.5 and QB 4.5 linm. Not getting to it tonight. But if someone were to bug me ...

    It would be interesting to see if it was documented. I'm guessing it is, as I'm not clever enough to find it by accident. I just tested it on my DOS machine, so that must have been the linker I was using back then. A lot of variations in link options among versions.

    With the first edition, yes. However when the 2nd edition of the manual was published, Microsoft combined them both into a single volume. That's the one I scanned. I've also uploaded the docs for Microsoft PDS 7.0 and the 7.1 supplement.

    Looking at the 2nd edition from geneb, the /bi switch is not documented. Looking at the files in my version of QB45, most of the files are dated 9/28/1988 or 9/29/1988. However, LIB.EXE is dated 7/26/1988 and LINK.EXE is dated 9/7/1988. AFAIK, my QB45 is intact.

    I've also scanned the manuals for MASM 6.11 and 5.0. Search "microsoft macro assembler" on the IA and you'll find them (among other artifacts).
