    To fix a 5140 that has a missing keyboard? Or to harvest for it's key switches?

    There were piles of NOS 5140 parts at computer reset when I was there. Maybe someone grabbed some extras. Otherwise, it looks like, maybe, there will be another event soon.

    I need whole keyboard with cable. I have two 5140s, but one without keyboard, so I want to complete it.

    Alas you may struggle to find a keyboard. For some reason a group of people decided that the stock 5140 has switches that will cure cancer or something like that and as a result there are a ton of 5140s out there that have no keyboard and I think it's highly unlikely that you'll find a complete working keyboard by itself. I'll keep an eye out for you though, just in case.

    Roman is one of the most diligent, upstanding of our members. Even without those previous links I would never question his motives regarding hardware requests. IMO, he's strictly on the up and up.
