Thread: Commodore 64 Repair Services?

    Default Commodore 64 Repair Services?

I just posted this in the "marketplace", but am also posting it here under C64s !

I have a collection of four C64s retrieved from my closet after 30 years. I have disassembled and cleaned three of them to good working condition, but the 4th needs more repair skills than I have.

Can anyone recommend a repair person or company in the US that does this now?

The C64 is physically in good shape and was well maintained. However, when I connect an AV cable to the AV port and the R/W/Y connectors on the TV, nothing happens when I turn the C64 on. I know the cable is good since it works with my other 3 computers.

Any info would be appreciated...these mean a lot to me.

    Thanks

    Default Repair Person Located!

Thank you for the "heads up" on Ray Carlsen. I have just learned of him (in Washington Sate) and am sending my Commodore 64 to him today!

I hope it goes well, and he can quickly locate the issue and fix it!

    Regards,
