    That's not what OP said in his post. One drive is working (A: ) and the other isn't (B: ). A swap doesn't disable one of the drives. Bad guess.

    FWIW, there is no vice-verse for 'swap A: for B:'.

    Swap A: for B: = swap B: for A:.
