Thread: can anyone identify this IDE disk connector - and where I might get/butcher one?

    Yes some of the old Toshiba and Dell laptops had removable caddy's which used similar connectors, IIRC i think some of the old IBM laptops used similar connectors, It's hard to tell from the photo though. Have you got a photo of this military machine or link to one.

    Chuck, ordered a pair of those connectors up - can only hope.

    They might serve to give a better scale to the connector?

    look for iainmaoileoin and you will see an picture or two of the computer.
    I have not found much online - the military use kind of means mortals never had one, so google is devoid of info.
