    Back in the day I used VoptNT for defragmenting my drives in NT4; I hadn't heard of Diskeeper.

    I keep handy an older copy of Norton SystemWorks/Norton Utilities for NT as one of the key items included in the bundle is SpeedDisk.

    I appreciate this isn't what you're asking, but if you've done a clean install, why would you immediately need to defrag it?

    I have run into instances where following the base install, drivers, patching and base applications the system was already relatively fragmented for whatever reason other than the swap file expanding/shrinking and installers being deleted after they were used. The performance is more noticeably hit on slower and smaller mechanical drives.
