Thread: Canon VP3000 Word Processor

    Default Canon VP3000 Word Processor

I really have no use for this Canon VP3000, it works, to an extent (no disks). It's got a Canon printer with a few extra ribbons as well. I picked it up because at the time I was interested in the un-interesting world of word processors, and because it sort of paired well with my CPT 8100. That interest has long since gone, at least for the VP3000, so now I'm looking to get rid of it. I even tried taking VCFMW in hopes someone would steal it when I wasn't looking, but no such luck.

Joking aside, if someone is interested in it let me know. I'll grab some photos next weekend!

Yeah, the disks seem to be quite hard to locate, but then again, nobody probably thought to save them. Unfortunately, they are pretty useless without them.

You may not be aware, but the unit does sport an 8088 and other associated logic. Theee ia only one asic, one too many of course. If yours works try booting it with a doa disk.
