    Default YD380 1710 help jumper

    Hi all
    I try to connect a YD380 1710 on a motherboard ASUS
But I do not know if I use the good flat cāble (twisted or not)
and how to put the correct jumper : DS0 DS1 DS2 DS3 HS HM MX HD INU HL TD MR
and also if I must connect the terminator resistor ?
I did not find any documentation about the jumpers
    Thank you very much

    Patrick

If it's the only drive, after the twist on a twisted cable, DS1, terminator in; hopefully the other jumpers are correct as is.

Some later motherboards support only one floppy/diskette drive. And some of those may require the use of an untwisted cable.

Refer to the motherboard's user manual. If you do not have that, then you may need to experiment.

Standard PC floppy drives are jumpered as DS1. In two drive setups, the twist in the cable is what swaps the drive assignments. Both drives set as DS1, the one before the twist is DS1, and the one after the twist (on the end of the cable) is DS0.
