Lightbulb Amiga 500 50hz to 60hz power supply?

i'm planning on buying an Amiga 500 from the UK which is probably with a 50hz 240v power supply. Our mains supply here in the Philippines is 220-240v 60hz. You've probably guessed my question, will the power adapter from UK works with a 60hz power supply?

Yes. The frequency of the AC mains supply doesn't matter. But what may make a difference to you is that the Philippines is an NTSC country while the UK is PAL. So if you intend to use a TV as your monitor you may run into trouble with that.

You can get around PAL / NTSC issues by using an RGB connection from the computer to the monitor. Those issues only come into play when using an RF or composite video connection to the TV \ monitor.

There may still be the issue of whether the TV / monitor can handle 50Hz frame rate as opposed to 60Hz for machines and monitor / TVs from NTSC countries.

Yeah but most modern TVs have PAL support, right?

Most, but not all. Some will only show it in black & white, or won't show any image at all.
