Default HELP! Needed: Japanese IBM 5545T reference diskette

Hi everyone! Trying to get my IBM PS/2 5545T (Japanese P70) up and running, but I am in need of the reference diskette.

The P70 disk that works fine on my other P70 and my GE Fanuc II does not work on this; gives me an error.

I'm guessing I need the diskette for this specific system.

I don't even know where to start... far as Google is concerned this system barely even exists.

Are there any Japanese vintage computer groups that I could fumble my way through with a translator?

    Help!

I don't know anything offhand, but if you're not averse to a bit of newsgroupery the boys at Comp.sys.ibm.ps2.hardware might be of assistance!

It has been a long time since I've used newsgroups. Is there a simple program/website to interface with them or do you still have to add them to your email program like Outlook?

If you go have an account with Google for any services (Gmail, an android phone, etc.) you can use Google Groups to access the board.

    Hi Aaron,

unfortunately, Sandy, our Japanese NG member/collator doesn't list the 5545T as one of the systems he'd researched. Kevin's mirror shows as much as we know:

N.B. there is an e-mail link at the bottom of the main page. I do NOT know if the unmunged address works, nor if Sandy is still with us.
