Default regarding the acquisition of a SuperO c7z170-oce lga1151 motherboard

Said to be parts no workee. I've developed sort of a thing for Supermicro. These were offered new a while back but I decided to hold off.

Although touted as a gaming motherboard, it's said to have all server grade components. Items that are specific to the z170 chipset can be had in abundance, but is it likely I'll be able to procure the extra "server grade" bits that aren't commonly found on consumer motherboards? Passive components I'm not worried about. I habe yet to catalog all this board contains, just got it today. There's also a pretty good video that describes this board's construction in considerable detail.

The motherboard has a black varnish. Is that easily removed? Do components have to be removed to reapply varnish (of a different color)?

If that "varnish" is a conformal urethane coating, you're in for an adventure.

Is this supposed to be some sort of wall art? I guess I'm not clear on your intent.

God never gave you the ability to appreciate fine art. Tis a shame.
