    Default Starting building glitch's XT-IDE rev 04

I have started building glitch's XT-IDE rev 04. Caps and resistors in board waiting to be soldered. Colour codes on resistors hard to make out.

Starting to solder on the chips. Not as neat as glitch but ok.

For sorting out barely-readable resistors and caps, the inexpensive component tester has been a godsend to me. For about $15, it's hard to beat. But do yourself a favor and install some good probes on it.

    Damaged the chip. Can I use a 74F573D instead of a 74HCT573AN?
