Neither is the fricaseed PC Chips motherboard. 3 of my 11 socket a cpu's have also been stewed. That sure ain't anything special. But you had to go and break my heart anyway. Heck it was only 5.50$

A 9200 is a 9000 with AGP 8x support. A 9000 is a slightly overclocked but hardware gimped 8500. If that boxed card was a 8500 I would be more interested. Anyway AGP cards are getting harder to find and if they are cheap enough I don't see the harm in snagging one.

Socket A motherboards tend to have bad capacitors but are otherwise fun to play with. Most of the chips for that socket that I have work except for a dead XP 3200+ which annoyed me to no end. I think you can still find decent coolers for them besides the cheap OEM aluminum ones.

Well some or all of the chips on my mobo are dead to the world. After plugging in the 3rd processor I said I shouldn't press my luck any further.

I bought a Masscool heatsink. It's so friggin tight. Good or bad it'll have to do.

I've sorced another cheap brand of mobo in my area. Hopefully all will work out.
