Depending on how you use the forums things may look a little different around here.
I've eliminated the seldom used "Regional Discussions" and moved all of the posts from them into appropriate other places. The newest of these, Events and Organizations, was created as a general repository for, well, events and organizations. Advertise VCFs, MARCH and other like stuff in there.
I also re-ordered the main forums page to move genres above the general discussions. Hopefully this will encourage folks to post in the appropriate place instead of just dropping stuff into "general" all the time. . . (Nudge, nudge. Wink, wink.)
