A few years ago, I bought a replacement KERNAL ROM chip & adapter board/socket for my SX-64, and I'm fairly sure it cane from one of our members.

Turns out I'm in need of another replacement, this time for the built-in software ROM for a Commodore Plus-4.

Can someone recall who had these?

Thanks!

Memory is a funny thing..

The source of the parts was in fact Jim Brain from the classicmp.org CCTALK mailing list. Not sure if he's a member here or not, though

Maybe I should get one. My SX-64 kernel ROM fails diagnostics although it seems to run fine..... To this day I still havent tried Jiffy DOS or any of the other alternatives.

Does the SX-64 the same pinout ROM as a normal breadbin C64? If so I can probably write you an EPROM so that you don't have to use an adapter.
