Need help identifying OS

Hello, I'm hoping someone might be able identify the OS used in the screenshots below. Thanks!

The "Wow" icon in the background pegs it as 1996-1997, so probably Windows 95.

OS/2

The background image on the first screenshot is certainly from that.

But OS/2 never had a Recycle Bin. To delete files it had a paper shredder icon.

Maybe that's a system add-on or something.

It's certainly not Win95, as the icon style doesn't fit and the recycle bin was not written in all upper-case letters there, nor was there a line break between the words.

Who knows, maybe it's even HP-UX or something. Not really possible to tell from these two small crops.

Win95 didn't have the desktop icons on 3D buttons like the screenshots. Norton Desktop had the desktop icons lifted up like that but didn't have a recycle bin. The screen seems fairly small with the Recycle Bin in the upper right and Compuserve in the lower left. Are you positive these are from screenshots instead of a mock-up for a Jornada palmtop?

I'm landing on the Win95 side of the aisle. The HP "Faxphone" package was rolled out with the Pavillion PCs and a great deal was made of it. (I may still have the CD for it). And the Pavillion was sold with Win95.
