I have 2 MCE2VGA adapters I use to convert CGA to VGA. I have tried 4 LCD monitors and they all downscale the 720x480@60Hz output to 640x480@60Hz. While the result is tolerable, it is just not very desirable. Without actually going to a SuperVGA CRT monitor, are there any LCD monitors out there that will accept the native 720x480@60Hz output that someone could recommend?

Thanks!

I've had similar results with my MCE2VGA. I don't currently have it set up, but I seem to remember making some adjustments to the firmware and experimenting with several monitors that were bought on the cheap from GoodWill. You might want to try to contact Retro Canada, The developer of the MCE2VGA adapter and a member here. He might have some helpful suggestions to modify the firmware to improve your results.
