Rl-21 led

I am just researching parts I will need to finish this Altair. In the parts manual they mention the front panel LEDs as being 'RL-21'. Google is useless on this one as RL-21 is a popular part number for modern LED appliances. Does anyone know who the original manufacturer was?

I suspect that MITS didn't even use a single manufacturer for the LEDs. They're basically a red 5mm LED.
