Just checked myself and got a server not found error.

Looks like we might have lost another reference source.

A *cached* page from 7/23/07 has the following on the page:

7/22/2007
<title>Hacked By CagS</title>...

7/20/2007
<h1>Hacked By LupuS And SiberAsker...

<script>location="http://lupu...

My bet is he is cussing up a blue streak, trying to recover his website.

Or, as other have guessed, he could have just said "((*&*&" and turned it off.

How is it that I get a response from this URL:
http://www.old-computers.com/corporate/contact.htm
but not this one:
http://www.old-computers.com
?

What kind of vintage black magic is at work here?

Seein' how the contact page is up, it's tempting to send e-mail to webmaster@old-computers.com to let them know that their site is down. However, I have a sneaking suspicion that they already know. ("What? The site is down? You don't say! Jolly good of you to point that out for us.")

Theory #1: They got hacked (shown already in this thread), went down, sent the vintage computing community into a panic, they came back up (shown already), everyone and their grandfather immediately started to mirror the site, crushed them completely...

I suppose it's not really black magic; more like ISP(http://www.old-computers.com) >> /dev/null.

Now I just wish they'd come back up so I can mirror them.
