Hi, I have three table lamps made in 1980 using NCR and CSIMemory mainframe storage disks. The disks are about 14 inches in diameter and 5 inches high, a stack of 10 disks. Since they don't deteriorate, the lamps are in A-1 condition. I have pictures if anyone wants to see them. They are very cool for someone interesting in vintage computer products. I'm trying to sell them and wonder if anyone has any ideas. I have put them on EBay, but so far no luck. I appreciate any ideas anyone might have.

You should have mentioned ebay item # 6265928971 at

I think the value lies in the platters themselves, but they're still pretty common in various configurations. You may find that they'll bring more $$$ if you get rid of the ugly lamp parts and just sell the discs. I'm sorry to be a downer, but I doubt that you'll get $75 for all three, let alone for each one.

However, good luck with the auction.
