Here is a list of the computers that I’ve managed to hang onto
over the years. I also have a vintage calculator collection but
calling any of them computers would be kind of a stretch.

SWT CT-1024 TV Typewriter II Not really a computer but it was the interface to my Altair
Mark-8 Not a computer yet. Just a pile of IC’s, circuit boards, LED’s,
components etc.
Altair 8800
Commodore Pet 2001 w/chicklet keyboard and built in cassette.
Commodore Vic-20
Commodore 64 w/ C2N cassette unit
Timex Sinclair 1000
Computer Designed Systems Inc MG081/K
Mystery computer - computer, keyboard and printer
all in one unit about the size of a big typewriter.
connectors - 18 pin single row C-CRT, 34 pin FDD
3 din connectors - Light Pen, TV, ACMT, D-shell RS323
Z80 processor
Anybody know anything about this computer??
ALTOS 587T 8086
ADAM family computer w/upgrade kit
TI 99/4A
Osborne Executive
w/complete set of manuals and software.
Sharp Scientific Computer EL-5500-T
hand held, runs basic
Hewlett Packard 75D
World’s first PDA?
IBM PC-1
64K, Single sided 160K FDD, Monochrome Monitor
Spent a zillion dollars in upgrades for this thing.
Expansion chassis, multifunction boards, RGB monitor
Hard drives, on and on.
IBM PC-JR
I once had enough of these JR’s to build a book shelf,
using JR’s instead of the concrete blocks.
IBM 5140 PC Convertible
IBM Portable
IBM PS/1
IBM PS/2 Mod 25 8086
I got rid of all my other PS/2’s. No room to keep.
Mac Classic
Used it for a door stop
Panasonic Senior Partner Portable
Compaq Plus Portable
Olivetti portable
Panasonic Business Partner laptop (80286)
This was my first laptop; now retired to my collection

RELATED COMPUTER STUFF

Heathkit Z/89 computer keyboard.
I originally had the entire computer, but someone sawed off
the keyboard. (wanted it detachable) The thing wasn’t working
so I took out the circuit boards and trashed the console. (Ouch!)
That was before I discovered JB Weld.
Heathkit H77
Dual 5 1/4 inch Floppy Unit
Heathkit H47
Dual 8 inch Floppy Disk Unit
Too heavy for a good boat anchor
Might want to sell this some day.
ASR-35 Teletype
Want to eventually connect this to the Altair
Wilson Labs MWX-1000 Winchester disk analyzer.
Ligo Research
- Angel intelligent print buffer
Quickdata External hard drive unit
Is this the worlds smallest 5 1/4 hard drive (512K)???
TRS-80 X-pad
I’ll give this up if I don’t find a TRS-80 soon.

I also have lots of computer junk (boards, cards, chips, drives, etc.)
I’ll make a list some day in case anybody can use some of it.

I have a collection of vintage computer books, manuals and magazines.
I’ll append that later also.

That's a pretty outstanding collection!

Is your Mark-8 one of the originals or a recent recreation?

Erik

Mark-8

Mark-8

The (pile of parts) mark-8 is part old and part new.
I bought all the IC's, the Radio Electronics plans, and misc components back in the early 1970's. The printed circuit boards, leds, 8008 chip, switches, and the home made cabinet are new.
