How would i be able to test my agp slot? I have a gigabyte ga-tvax mother board, i had a radoen 9600se pro which just went bad for some reason, and i am thinkin the agp slot messed it up.

I have tried that video card on 2 different computers, it failed to work.

I have an older radoen 9200 or so, and i want to use it, im just questioning if the agp slot wont mess it up if i put it in. Because that card is my sisters, and i wanted to use it till she gets back.

Please respond to my post, I'd appreciate it.

The proper answer is to hand in the computer to a repairman. While you could experiment by swapping cards (I've done that, but using cheaper AGP cards I can risk of damaging), getting parts from a working unit to see if they will work sounds risky. It may have been the 9600 which went down for no apparent reason, but if your computer have some wrong voltage etc on the AGP slot, you will end up with two dead graphic cards, one motherboard to repair/replace and an angry sister on top of that.
