my friend wants to listen to the live streaming audio of the Man U vs. Arsenal game this Sunday, and he has to keep disconneting his router in order for it to play properly
he keeps getting a "can't connect to proxy server or can't detect server" error

can anyone help me with him? i know jack about routers and proxy servers. is this some kind of firewall problem he is having?

here is the exact message:

THIS IS THE EXACT ERROR MESSAGE WHEN I TRY AND ACCESS A REAL PLAYER STREAMING AUDIO LINK

"UNABLE TO LOCATE PROXY SERVER..THIS PROXY SERVER DOES NOT HAVE A DNS ENTRY
PLEASE CHECK THE PROXY SERVER NAME AND TRY AGAIN"

Its probably a firewall issue. He might not even have to connect via a proxy server, if so he could just connect directly to the net

He could also see if the link works/url is correct. Or see if there's another source of the broadcast.
