I am trying to format a document in plain text. I want a text editor that has some kind of memory so that I can undo more than one edit. I also want it to be able to make sure the document displays within 80 columns and to word-wrap words within those 80 columns. I would like to have it center text on the page. Finally, I want it to be able to make rudimentary tables using spaces and the like. (Something like spreadsheet functionality. Any program able to meet these needs?
