Spurred on by another email about high postal costs I am trying to look for a way for me to obtain a few ebay (we only post to US) items in the next couple of months.
Although I have lived in New York, I am now in Lausanne Switzerland, but I am coming to New York this fall to run the marathon.
So the cunning plan would be something like
Find some kind soul on the forum who can receive some ebay items and keep them safe (until Nov 1 2009)
Probably a card or manual or two or three.
What do you get out of it?
Well eBay UK sellers deliver to Switzerland (most of the time), and if you can wait till Nov 2009, I could bring you something you sent to our apartment !
Or, you can peruse my purchases and use them/read them until I get there.
Or, you can do it because it is a terribly nice thing to do
I realise this is all a bit of a longshot, my ideal soulmate (/victim) will have a portered apartment so if out my delivery won't inconvenience you.
Well anyway I have to ask right?
