Hi All,
Lets see whom can spot the vintage metal PC, on the junk mans trailer.
Photos taken recently in an Australian city.
We have what is called 'Hard rubbish" collection, typically once a year where householders get to chuck out things they dont need.
Then an authorized collection company comes around and collects the lot.
On occasion "others" also stop by and 'pick up' the occasional good bits, as you can see by the pics.
Sometimes certain "others" get carried away and forget basic safety.
No there is no prize for noticing the police car at rear of trailer in the 3rd pic.
Yes it made news. And yes it cost the scrap man a lot of $'s in fines.
There were 2 old PC's in that collection of metal. Type unknown.
sure to make a few of you chuckle.
Mind you how they piled it up that high, while just parked for a few moments at a curbside defies thinking about.
As far as I can tell from a web search, there is no copyright on the pics, as they are in the public domain. But I will leave to the moderators to remove if needed.
