I have a C128-DCR here plus an external 1571 (and an external 2031LP over IEEE, but that's another story)... I purchased the JiffyDos images for everything and have a problem.
The install into the 1571 and 1571DCR is trivial. The problem is how and where to burn the images for the 128.
It comes as a set with C128DCR_6.01 and C64_6.01 bin files. Unfortunately, there are pretty much no directions.
It seems that these somehow end up in U32... Do I need to stack these two into a single chip? If so, a 27C256 seems fine for this (a lot of folks seem to talk about a 512, but I don't have a need to switch out the Jiffydos ROMs). What order do they go in? I've burned four EPROMs so far in various attempts to no avail and have to go dig out the UV eraser to reprogram them. How do these get assembled????
